Little Cookier is a user-triggered browser extension used to read cookies on target websites and copy them to the clipboard.
1. What This Extension Does
The extension requests host permission on demand and copies the result.
2. Data Handling Principles
- The extension does not collect cookies automatically. Reads happen only when the user clicks copy.
- The extension does not upload cookie data to developer servers and does not use cloud storage or telemetry.
- Extension settings (rules, default strategies, custom domains, language preferences) are stored only in browser extension storage.
- When the user subscribes, refreshes a license, checks payment status, or recovers a license, the website and extension send the purchase email, current device identifier (install_id), payment ID, and required authorization query parameters to the license service only for subscription activation, device binding, payment confirmation, and license recovery.
3. Permissions
- cookies: used to read cookies for user-selected sites.
- storage: used to persist local rules and preferences.
- tabs and activeTab: used to identify the active tab and resolve the target page during user actions.
- Host access is requested only when the user explicitly asks to read a specific site.
4. Data Sharing and Use Limits
The extension does not sell, rent, or share cookie data with third parties. Purchase email, device identifier, and payment or license query data are sent only to the developer-operated license service for payment confirmation, license binding, recovery, and abuse prevention, and are not used for advertising, profiling, or resale.
